About Phil Low
Phil has been interested in physically challenging activities from a young age. After 12 years of training in a Japanese martial art called Aikido and reaching 2nd degree black belt, he stumbled upon yoga.
As a qualified myotherapist, Phil has a deep understanding of how the body moves. He encourages people to move in a way that makes them feel good, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally. For Phil, yoga is both the path and the destination.

Have you ever been interested in incorporating inversions into your practice? Whether you are new to inversions or are familiar with it, come join Phil Low at Little Mandarin Yoga for a 2.5 hour inversion workshop filled with fun and laughter!
Inversions can be daunting but it can be made more accessible to anyone if we just change our approach to it. “Inverted Perspective” will not only change your perspective (literally by going upside down!) but will also give you the tools to change the way you think about inversions to make it more accessible and fun to begin incorporating them into your daily practice.
In this workshop:
Explore inversion preparation poses and their relationship to inverting;
Learn the fundamentals of inverting;
Build strength, flexibility and confidence to get upside down safely whilst having fun in the process;
Connect to poses in a flow to absorb the shapes needed to invert, without having to overthink each pose;
Create the awareness and confidence to prepare to take flight into handstand, headstand and forearm balance; and
Find the most effective ways to finding stability and balance in order to use the tools needed to add inversions into your own practice.
All levels of yogis are welcome! All that is needed is a little curiosity and willingness to explore the possibilities. Let’s approach each step with a playful attitude and acknowledge where we each are in our individual yoga journey.
