Join Little Mandarin Yoga on March 25th for a 3-hour Acro Yoga and Thai Massage workshop with Agustin Aguerreberry! Bring a partner and spend some quality time learning to trust and communicate with each other (and laugh at miscommunications!), or come by yourself and make some new friends instead!
Acro Yoga blends the three ancient lineages of Yoga, Thai Massage, and Acrobatics to form the foundation of a unique new practice that cultivates not only trust and connection but also, playfulness. The natural pull of gravity is used intelligently to our advantage to help increase assisted stretches whilst expanding possibilities of the spine’s range of movement.
Thai Massage principles such as the application of gentle touch through pressure points and zen lines will also be incorporated into a truly unique and sensory experience.
In this workshop:
- Explore introductory acro yoga and physical warm-ups;
- Drill utilising body strength and targeting areas of tightness in the body;
- Practise acro-yoga flying techniques incorporating the above; and
- Learn basic Thai massage techniques where you will give and receive the benefits of Thai massage in a supine (lying down) position.
All levels are welcome. No prior acro yoga experience is necessary. Mats and props will be provided.
New Moon Blends will be gifting one lucky participant with one of their beautiful Sage Yo Self Smudge Spray that is infused clear quartz crystals to cleanse and purify energy! All of New Moon Blends products are natural, free of additives or preservatives, vegan and cruelty free. They even encourage you to reuse the bottles by offering a 10% discount on products when you return your bottle! How awesome is that? Use the spray at home to help create a calming, clear space and get rid of negative energy and bring a little bit of calmness home with you after the workshop.
